Presenter: Kari Taylor, LPCC-S

Conflict, confrontation, and difficult conversations are inevitable realities, even within the church setting. For many leaders, overcoming internal fears, anger, and avoidance when these situations arise is often the greater challenge. This webinar will address the internal dialogue leaders experience regarding conflict, confrontation, and difficult conversations while also providing practical tools to navigate these situations with greater confidence.

As leaders grow stronger in these areas, the benefits extend to healthier staff relationships, stronger church culture, increased trust, and greater overall growth. The leadership tools presented will be applicable to any church leadership role and can be implemented immediately.

Attendees will:

- Gain a greater understanding of what happens in the brain and body during challenging interactions

- Learn how to move through fear and avoidance that hinder healthy conflict, confrontation, and difficult conversations

- Develop skills to de-escalate conflict, truly hear others, and identify opportunities for growth

- Learn to respond internally and externally to difficult feedback in productive and healthy ways

- Learn to plan for and approach difficult conversations from a healthy and Christ-centered perspective
